There are few places that are worse to get stung by a bee than your eyeball.  Actually, just thinking about it causes us to feel pain we couldn't even imagine before.

Unfortunately, a 55-year-old man from Philadelphia knows exactly what that pain feels like after suffering a bee sting that led to an emergency trip to the hospital.

The man thought he extracted the stinger fully, but two days after the attack he went to the E.R. with enormous pain.

Per Ars Technica, turns out the stinger wasn't fully extracted and a small part of it was lodged into the guy's eye, only visible via a microscope and special dye.

Doctors used tweezers to successfully remove the small remains of the stinger, and miraculously the man is expected to make a full recovery with the man's vision already returning to 20/25.
