53-year-old Lee Bowman of Sioux City, Iowa really wanted his lawn mown, so he asked his neighbors if they would be so kind to do that favor for him.

It's unclear why he couldn't do it himself, but the following day Bowman noticed that his lawn still hadn't been mowed, and he threw a fit.

First, after storming over to his neighbor's home, he stole the registration sticker off their car. THEN, he gathered some plywood and sticks, dumped them next to the home, and then lit them on fire! Ironically enough, he used gasoline from a lawnmower as an accelerant. Not sure if this was his own lawnmower, or his neighbors' he used as an attempt to burn their house down.

Luckily, firefighters were able to put out the flames before anyone was hurt, but they did cause thousands of dollars in damages.

According to Local 12, Bowman attempted to play dumb when confronted by the police, saying he didn't know who started the fire, and though he did see it, thought it was "none of his business" which is why he didn't call 911.

Eventually, he copped to the whole thing, admitting to authorities to "making a mistake."

Bowman is currently facing charges of first-degree arson and second-degree criminal mischief.
