29-year-old Caleb Burczyk of Williston, North Dakota was recently let go from his job at an oil well maintenance company.
Burczyk tried to connect with a former coworker, 39-year-old Robert Thomas, and sent him a friend request on Facebook. Unfortunately for Burczyk, Thomas left him hanging.
Burczyk grew incredulous at the denied friend request, and began sending threatening messages to Thomas, writing in one, "Accept my friend request or I'm going to murder you."
The situation kept escalating to the point that on the day after Christmas, Burczyk went to Thomas' house, and KICKED in his front door! The arrest affidavit does not state what Burczyk did once he entered the residence. One of Thomas' family members called the police, and after arriving to the scene they quickly arrested Burczyk.
Burczyk is now facing felony charges of burglary and terrorizing.
