Jeremiah Coleman was at his local Walmart in Lincoln, Nebraska Christmas Eve when he got into a little tiff with one of the employees.
It escalated to the point where the 35-year-old Coleman threatened the employee with a machete, where he waved the weapon around promising to attack. And why was Coleman so upset? Well, apparently the employee didn't give Coleman a receipt after he purchased said machete.
Police negotiated with Coleman for about 40 minutes after arriving to the scene, where he eventually relented and was taken into custody without further incident.
Coleman was arrested for suspicion of terroristic threats, use of a deadly weapon to commit a felony, and possession of a deadly weapon by a prohibited person.
And furthermore, Coleman is a convicted felon who cannot legally possess a machete. He's definitely got some more problems beyond not getting a receipt!
