Our Dr. Miles Intervention this morning comes from a man who will soon be celebrating his 40th birthday.
And he's upset that seemingly, his wife isn't putting the same amount of effort planning his birthday as he did for her 40th.
He initially wanted to do a big blowout in Vegas, but says she profoundly said "NO," and this was after she asked him to plan her a surprise party for her birthday, complete with a party bus, and he made it happen!
Now as his birthday is rapidly approaching, she is pressuring him to come up with an idea of what they will be doing even after shooting down his Vegas dreams.
He says she is making it feel like his birthday celebration is a "burden" for her, and yet "hers was a HUGE success….BECAUSE OF MY UNWAIVERING LOVE AND DEVOTION to HER!"
The man says that his wife claims that with the money tied up redoing their backyard and back porch, they wouldn't be able to afford a trip to Vegas. HOWEVER, he also says they were facing the same issues with her birthday, and yet, "we were somehow able to pay for her birthday surprise party complete with party bus!"
He says he feels like she's ignoring his feelings and needs, and doesn't know what to do.
