Last month, a man in St. Petersburg, Florida woke up for work one morning to discover a burglar in his kitchen.
The stranger had already stolen his laptop, and was looking for more, and he had armed himself with a piece of decoration adorning the walls of the homeowner's house: a samurai sword.
24-year-old Daemeion Grady found the sword, and threatened the homeowner, demanding he throw as many valuables as he could into a hamper, and then into the man's truck, which he also stole.
Unfortunately, the police were able to quickly track down Grady because in his haste, he accidentally left his phone at the scene!
The police located the missing samurai sword, which had Grady's fingerprints on it, and arrested him last week.
According to the Tampa Bay Times, he is facing charges of armed burglary, carjacking, and resisting arrest.
