Mark Cuban says Dirk Nowitzki statue will go up this year

He also weighed in on which other players are deserving of one.

In a recent interview with Bleacher Report, Mark Cuban said the Dirk Nowitzki statue will be erected this year. The fixture was unveiled at Dirk's retirement ceremony.

The Dallas Mavericks owner explained that the honor is earned not just on the court but in the community as well. He also mentioned other current players who would be worthy of a life-sized figurine would be Lebron James and Steph Curry. (PAYWALL)
