A McFlurry from McDonald's is a wonderful treat at any time of the day. You can customize it with whatever sweet treats you like; the flavor options are limitless really.
Given 100 guesses, nobody would have been able to predict McDonald's latest flavor, though.
The chain just introduced their brand new "Grandma McFlurry."
Apparently, the McFlurry is supposed to have tastes that remind you of Grandma, and not taste like Grandma, which is a big difference we surely appreciate.
Tariq Hassan, chief marketing and customer experience Officer for McDonald's, said in a release per CNN, "Grandmas have always held a special place in our hearts, and today they're having a major moment influencing culture — inspiring trends in fashion, decor and now, even food with our newest McFlurry."
McDonald's hasn't revealed exactly what the flavor is. The restaurant says it tastes like "like Grandma's favorite treat that she hid in her purse," so many people have speculated the flavors are caramel and butterscotch and tastes like a Werther's Original.
