Study finds men support the idea of women going topless in public more than women

The “Free the Nipple” movement has certainly hit the acceleration peddle over the last couple of years, and despite its rampant growth in support, a lot of people still have issues with the idea of public nudity.

35% of Americans, however, support the idea of women being allowed to go topless in public.  And believe it or not, more men support that notion than women.

51% of folks say women should not be allowed to go topless in public; 14% are undecided.

45% of men 18 to 44-years-old support women being topless, compared to 37% of women in the same age range.

The demographic that most supports women going topless in public, is men aged 45-years-old and older, with 47% of those dudes wanting to free the nipple.  Only 15% of women in the same range want the same.
