It's always fun when new words are added to the dictionary. On Friday, Merriam-Webster updated their list with 370 terms. Many of them have been around for a while, though, like "cringe" and "side hustle".
Here are few we didn't know:
Greenwash- to make something (such as a product, policy, or practice) appear to be more environmentally-friendly or less damaging than it really is
Sponcon- Content posted usually by an influencer on social media for which the poster has been paid to advertise a product or service
Omakase- a series of small servings or courses (like sushi) offered at a fixed price and whose selection is left to the chef's discretion
