Our Dr. Miles Intervention this morning comes from a woman named Kayla who is upset that her mother-in-law, who came to visit for the Christmas holiday, is still at her house!
And if wasn't bad enough, her mother-in-law has begun undermining Kayla's parenting with her 13-year-old daughter, though her husband refuses to ask his mother to leave...for one specific reason.
The mother-in-law's wife, Kayla's father-in-law passed away this past August, and Kayla's husband is having a hard time asking his mother to leave because of it.
Is it time for Kayla's husband to buck up and get his mother to leave? We can empathize with the loss of her husband, but when she started undermining Kayla's parenting, that had to be the end of the line.
