Everyone could use a good laugh these days, and Deep Ellum has just the spot for it! Dallas Comedy Club will officially open its doors on Wednesday, September 1st. The venue is celebrating with a six-day event just in time for the Labor Day weekend.

Owners Ian and Rosie Caruth met at a comedy club in New York City, got married, and moved to DFW to be closer to family. As Rosie tells it, “We’d both been in the business a long time—starting in college troupes and studying at multiple theaters across the nation. We’d always fantasized about opening a theater here, so when the opportunity came up, we jumped at the chance."

The 96,000 square-foot space is beautifully designed with multiple theaters, classrooms, a bar, and a giant patio set against the backdrop of a colorful mural.
