We all have one person in our family that just can't seem to throw anything away.
You ever see the TV show Hoarders? It's an epidemic that can destroy lives due to people just not having the ability to let anything go.
Hoarding is a more prevalent problem that we may realize, as a new survey conducted by Talker Research on behalf of The Container Store says that half of Americans have at least one room in our home that's "unsalvageable" due to all the clutter!
According to SWNS Digital, 34% of people say their home feels "cramped," and 55% of people wish they didn't have to get rid of stuff to have enough space.
People with "hoarder tendencies" were asked what things were the hardest to part with, and the top ten answers included:
1 – Clothes
2- Kitchen equipment (appliances, dishware, and gadgets)
3 – Hobby items
4 – Shoes
5 – Groceries/food items
6 – Furniture
7 – Seasonal décor
8 – Memorabilia
9 – Random/one-off items
10 – Books
