New Texas law requires strip club employees and patrons to be 21

Monday, Governor Greg Abbott signed a number of bills into effect including SB 315. This proposal would limit the age of people allowed on the premises of sexually-oriented businesses. In previous years, strip clubs allowed waitstaff, door girls, and dancers to be 18 and over. There were also BYOB establishments that were 18 and over for customers.

As of yesterday, anyone under the age of 21 will not be permitted to be on the property of an SOB in Texas. For many college students, this is a lucrative source of income. If the law is broken, the business will be held responsible.
