Don't let anybody tell you delivering the news isn't a dangerous profession.

Most often though, the danger occurs out in the field reporting remotely, but for Canada Global News host Farah Nasser, danger found her right in the middle of the studio.

Well we may be overexaggerating the word "danger" here, but right in the middle of her broadcast, a fly flew right into Nasser's mouth, which she subsequently SWALLOWED, though sill managed to finish the report.

Nasser would later tweet about the incident, writing, "Sharing because we all need a laugh these days.  I swallowed a fly on air today."

Nasser told CNN anchors Victor Blackwell and Alisyn Camerota in an interview, "I could feel it fluttering in the back of my throat as I finished that introduction."

The anchors then proceeded to call for Nasser to receive a prestigious news award. "Give that woman an Edward R. Murrow award right now!" Camerota said.

And believe it or not, this is the SECOND time an incident like this has recently occurred live on Canadian news.

Last month, a bee hurled down Ontario Premier Doug Ford's throat during a televised news conference!
