Though Rumours is often regarded as one of the greatest albums of all time, its recording sessions were not without its own bevy of problems.
According to a report from CheatSheet.com, Stevie Nicks would routinely "storm out" of recording sessions because of lyrics written by Lindsey Buckingham, many of which were about their recent break-up.
Former Fleetwood Mac producer Ken Caillat mentioned specifically the song "Second Hand News" causing major problems while recording.
Caillat said, "A lot of Lindsey's lyrics sparked fights with Stevie.
"I didn't know exactly what was happening at the time, but words were flying around, particularly Lindsey's, about their breakup."
Caillat said that Nicks would "storm out" of recording sessions when Buckingham would start singing about her. "Stevie hated when Lindsey got even a little literal," he said. "The minute Lindsey would start singing his lyrics, Stevie stormed out and the session would end."
Nicks has also previously admitted she "resented" certain lyrics from "Go Your Own Way," calling them "inaccurate."
She told Rolling Stone in 1997, "I very, very much resented him telling the world that 'packing up, shacking up' with different men was all I wanted to do.
"He knew it wasn't true. It was just an angry thing that he said."
