The National Park Service has issued a word of advice for any group of friends out in the wilderness who may encounter a bear in their path: "Don't push a slower friend down."

We've all thought it, right?  "As long as I'm not the slowest I'll be ok."

Plenty of people played along with the NPS' joke, who came back with plenty of jokes of their own!

Jokes aside, the NPS did warn that as spring arrives and snow begins to melt, many bears become more active.

The organization also linked to a document detailing safety tips regarding how to avoid potential bear attacks in the wild.
