"What Is Love" – Haddaway
-Of course, the song is most notably used in the Saturday Night Live skit with Will Ferrell, Chris Kattan, and Jim Carrey.
-Haddaway is always asked what his definition of love is. He says, love "needs to be defined by everyone by his own definition. It's unique and individual. For me, it has to do with trust, honesty, and dedication."
"Animal" – Def Leppard
-The band says this was the most difficult song to record for the album Hysteria, and it took over three years to complete.
-And it was the only track on the album to be demoed by drummer by Rick Allen before his car accident, resulting in the amputation of his left arm.
"Living In America" – James Brown
-Song was featured prominently in Rocky IV, during Apollo Creed's and Rocky Balboa's fights against Ivan Drago.
-Song was parodied by Weird Al Yankovic in 1986. His parody was called "Living with a Hernia," with the line "got to have a celebration" being replaced with "got to have an operation."
"Never Surrender" – Corey Hart
-Corey Hart said the inspiration for the song came from his mother. He said, "My mother influenced me with this ethic of never quitting on yourself or your dreams no matter how challenging or daunting."
-Song plays in the first scene of the Stranger Things season 3 premiere, "Suzie, Do You Copy?
