A man in Pontotoc County in Oklahoma is currently under investigation for the death of his noodling partner.
Larry Sanders has a clear-cut alibi though regarding the death of Jimmy Knighten: Bigfoot did it.
Sanders and Knighten were apparently fishing in the South Canadian River July 9 when a fight reportedly broke out between them. Sanders allegedly hit and strangled Knighten.
But it wasn't his fault, though.
Pontotoc County Sheriff John Christian told Fox 23, "He [Sanders] appeared to be under the influence of something. His statement was that Mr. Knighten had summoned 'Bigfoot' to come and kill him; that's why he had to kill Mr. Knighten."
Sanders was initially arrested on an outstanding warrant and booked into the Pontotoc County Jail, though on July 10, authorities found Knighten's body and charged Sanders with Murder in the First Degree.
