According to The Guardian, the original iPod classic, which launched back in 2001, is selling on some resale sites for as much as $49,000! A first-generation iPhone is now worth as much as $24,000!

Professional eBay trader Hermie Brieto from Los Angeles believes that Apple's rich history is what's driving up prices.
