One of the most iconic stars in television history is selling the home he has one of the most iconic television shows in history to thank for.
Patrick Duffy recently listed his 400-acre Oregon ranch, the home he calls "the house that Dallas built," for a cool $14 million.
According to Dallas News, Duffy purchased the first 130 acres of the ranch in 1990 for about $1.5 million with his late wife Carlyn Rosser.
He made the ranch his primary home in the early 2000s, and has spent the last two decades and about $3 million buying adjacent properties to expand the homestead to its current size.
The couple acquired eight more houses and several pastures that are rented out to local ranchers.
The four-bedroom main home connects to a gallery where the couple displayed their art collection.
The gallery holds specific memories for Duffy, who added to the collection as his career grew.
Duffy and Rosser initially used the ranch as a retreat from their primary home in Los Angeles. When their kids went off to college, they moved to the ranch full-time.
Rosser unfortunately passed away in 2017.
Alan DeVries of Sotheby's International Realty, who has the listing with colleague Matt Cook, says, "Patrick has been coming up here for 30 years. He's had Larry Hagman, Suzanne Somers and several other personalities up here.
"They've experienced something here that can't be described."
