Like many small businesses around the country, Paint 'N' Party in Plano has felt the effects of the pandemic.
In fact, the Plano business was facing a permanent closure, but was saved by a stroke of ingenuity from the owner's 14-year-old granddaughter.
Emily Conn thought the instructor-led art studio should begin offering take-home paint-and-go kits, and thought that they should begin using social media as a free form of advertisement. Emily said, "I realized that Paint ‘N Party might close and it’s been opening since I was born. I didn’t want it to close down, so I thought we could do paint and take kits."
Emily worked hard on Paint 'N' Party's online presence, and pretty soon they were reinvented and back up and running!
You can pick up some Take and Paint Kits, or sit for a lesson yourself, at Paint 'N' Party, located at 3295 Independence Parkway in Plano!
