Fire officials say that the house explosion in Plano that sent six to the hospital was caused by an "isolated gas leak."
According to KRLD, the leak most likely happened inside the house, but "further investigation is needed to determine where in the home it occurred."
Authorities have ruled out foul play, but are still trying to determine exactly where the explosion occurred. A popular theory has investigators trying to determine if lightning from a storm that was over the area may have played a part in the explosion.
One adult who lived in the home that exploded was hospitalized, along with two adults and three children from a neighboring house that was severely damaged by the blast.
