Police in Murietta, California recently pulled over a pizza delivery man for a traffic violation.
Turned out the driver had an outstanding warrant, and was taken into custody. However, he was pulled over while out making a delivery, so the Murietta police came up with a plan: one of the officers handle the arrest, and the other deliver the pizza!
So Officer McCarthy of the Murrieta Police Department delivered the pie himself, probably much to the surprise of the family that was waiting for it!
And even better news for the hungry family, Officer McCarthy didn't even ask for a tip! The department wrote, "The smile on the hungry citizen's face was all the 'tip' needed to know we are doing our job."
