Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are no longer part of the royal family. The couple renounced their positions as members of the family, and resigned from all official duties as members of the family.
The Royal Family issued a statement that read:
Following conversations with The Duke, The Queen has written confirming that in stepping away from the work of The Royal Family it is not possible to continue with the responsibilities and duties that come with a life of public service. While all are saddened by their decision, The Duke and Duchess remain much loved members of the family.
According to Page Six, the pair will sit down for an interview with Oprah Winfrey, which was a "cause for concern" for the royal family, especially for Prince William.
