The container ship blocking passage through the Suez Canal has costed companies worldwide an estimated $50 billion in delays, including a giant company in Europe that specializes in the production of adult toys.
One of the ships blocked is carrying 20 shipping containers full of sex toys, and with the canal blocked, the toys cannot be delivered, causing delays up to multiple weeks in orders.

According to the Metro, the Dutch company EDC Retail is considering rerouting their ship around the southern end of Africa, but that would add another week to shipping, and a TON of extra costs.
Experts have predicted that it could take weeks for the shipping container to be fully dislodged from the canal.
