Three women in Edwardsville, Illinois grabbed as much as they could from a sports store when they sprinted to their getaway car located in the parking lot.
Unfortunately, the last one to the vehicle just didn't make it in time.
As she attempted to open the door to the getaway car, she found it locked, and then the driver just took off. And as she watched the getaway car speed out of the parking lot, she witnessed a police car roll right in to pick her up.
A witness to the incident told Fox 2 Now that he believes the driver put the car in drive, locking the doors and their accomplice out.
The woman is now facing charges of felony theft, and she also had an active warrant for a previous theft charge. The cops were are still on the lookout for the other two individuals involved in the robbery.
