We know summer just started, but the State Fair will be here before we know it, and no trip to the State Fair is complete without trying incredibly huge portions of delicious fried food.
Earlier today, the State Fair released the semi-finalists of this year's Big Tex Choice Awards, which also happens to be its 20th anniversary!
Ten savory and fourteen sweet dishes made the cut, and like always, there's quite a collection of foods we didn't know could be combined with one another and didn't think possible to be fried!
The 2024 State Fair of Texas kicks off Friday, September 27 and runs through Sunday, October 20.
