We’re about two months out from the opening of the State Fair of Texas, and to get you in the mood the State Fair has revealed the 15 finalists for this year’s Big Tex Choice Awards!
Some of the highlights include Fletcher’s Corny Dogs, a longtime staple of the Fair creating a dessert corny dog.
How does one exactly make a corny dog dessert? We have no idea, but we do know it will be deep fried and probably amazing.
The State Fair runs this year from Sept. 25, 2026 through Oct. 18, 2026.
