Stranger Things' Eddie Munson obsession with Metallica has taken the world by storm ever since the show's series finale aired July 1.
It led to the band itself "joining" the Hellfire Club, and even "bringing" out Eddie during their set at Lollapalooza.

There was one thing we were all still missing, though: a meeting between Metallica and Joseph Quinn, the actor who portrayed Eddie Munson during Stranger Things' fourth season.
Well, it happened backstage at Lollapalooza, and it was everything we hoped it would be.
Per Page Six, both parties gushed over each other. Quinn mentioned that "Master of Puppets" was "all he was listening to" for two years prior to filming the epic climactic scene of the show.
And Metallica frontman James Hetfield said he was a "huge fan" of the show, and that Stranger Things has been a huge "bonding experience" for him and his kids.
The band presented Quinn with a customized and signed replica of the B.C. Rich electric guitar Eddie uses on-screen.
