Subway adding a footlong cookie to its menu, Dallas residents can get one for free next week

Remember the days when Subway operated as a healthy fast-food alternative to help customers lose weight?  Those days appear to be long gone.

Subway just introduced a new footlong offering and unbelievably, it is NOT a sandwich, but a footlong cookie!

According to TODAY, the cookie will be available nationwide starting in January, but on December 4^th cookie fans get a free "first bite" with the purchase of any footlong sub.  By the way, December 4^th is "National Cookie Day."

The four Subway locations you can score your free footlong cookie include:

-Chicago, Illinois: 604 S Wabash Avenue, Suite D
-Dallas, Texas: 1222 Commerce Street, Suite 150
-Miami Beach, Florida: 2795 Collins Avenue
-New York City: 545 8th Avenue
