Troy, New York man Mark S. Cooper appeared in court this past Tuesday over charges of vehicle theft. Police suspected Cooper to be involved in several car thefts earlier in the week.
The police's suspicions were confirmed when Cooper showed up to court driving a car that had just been reported stolen overnight! He was apprehended after a short chase, in which he cut off the ankle monitor currently affixed to his body which initially tipped off police to his location.
According to News 10, Cooper was arraigned, and is facing charges of 3rd degree grand larceny
