You do NOT want to get between a person and their late-night munchies!
A lawsuit has been filed against Taco Bell for false advertisement due to the amount of fillings the restaurant chain stuffs into their Crunchwraps and Mexican Pizzas. Apparently for one customer, it just wasn't enough.
According to the Washington Post, a man named Frank Siragusa filed the suit in New York late last month, accusing Taco Bell of "unfair and deceptive trade practices for falsely advertising the amount of beef and/or ingredients" in various "Overstated Menu Items."
The suit included photos of what Taco Bell advertised to what Siragusa actually received at restaurants as evidence for the chain skimping on fillings. The suit states that Taco Bell ads are "unfair and financially damaging to consumers ... especially concerning now that inflation, food, and meat prices are very high and many consumers, especially lower-income consumers, are struggling financially."
