Bad news for anyone heading to the College Football Playoff National Championship between the Georgia Bulldogs and TCU Horned Frogs, tailgating will NOT be allowed.

This directive comes straight from the College Football Playoff, who explains on their website: “Recreational vehicles will not be allowed to park at SoFi Stadium for the 2023 national championship game. In addition, tailgating will not be allowed in any SoFi Stadium parking lot.”

Since college football and tailgating are like two peas in a pod, you can imagine that people aren’t very happy with this decision.

Per WFAA, there hasn’t been much of an explanation for the no-tailgating policy since SoFi Stadium allows tailgating for other events.

Game organizers will host the Allstate Championship Tailgate event, which will include performances from Kelsea Ballerini and Tiera Kennedy.

Fans can also play interactive games and enjoy concession food and drinks at the event.
