Anyone who lived in the Metroplex in the past four decades will likely remember Valley View Mall. It was located in North Dallas off 635 and Preston Rd. It was not quite Richardson and not quite Carrollton. I used to go when I was headed to Addison from Dallas because it was on the way.
After closing in the mid 2010s, the building was repurposed for a couple of different business ventures. Unfortunately, none of them succeeded, and now the shopping center is completely abandoned. A couple of local guys toured the ghost-like shops and recorded its current state.
