A man in Japan was recently apprehended by the police after they received reports that he was carrying a giant knife into a train station.
Well it wasn't a knife, as the teen who made the call to the police got confused with what he was actually holding: a flip phone.

Apparently, she had never seen such a device before, and the police actually believe her age was a main factor in the teen's panic.
Though the teen's exact age wasn't mentioned in any reports, according to Sora News 24, it's very likely that neither she nor her peers have ever used a flip phone before, and at a distance it very easily could have been confused for a knife.
