In fact, this week Texas will reportedly experience temperatures hotter than 99% of the rest of the world!
This, according to Ben Noll, a meteorologist with New Zealand’s National Institute of Water & Atmospheric Research, who tweeted last weekend “Only the Sahara Desert & Persian Gulf area will be as hot or hotter than the Lone Star State.”
According to NBC DFW, the temperatures are expected to peak today at 107 degrees, with the heat index as high as 115!
