Last month, Phyllis Pena returned to her Lake Jackson home to find a man trying to peep through her daughter's bedroom window. So she did what any good mother would do, and absolutely laid him out.
When suspect Zane Hawkins tried to flee the scene after the police arrived, Pena squared up, and tackled him in a way that would make the Cowboys proud.
Pena told Click 2 Houston, "The cop fist-bumped me, and he was like, 'Hey, so I heard the Texans are looking for a new linebacker.'"
Hawkins was apprehended thanks to Pena's quick action, and is now facing charges of possession of a controlled substance, evading arrest, and resisting arrest.
