The team still recommends them and has other safety protocols in place.

On the heels of Thursday's announcement from Center for Disease Control that masks are no longer required in most places for fully-vaccinated people, the Texas Rangers updated their policy. Guests no longer have to wear masks at Globe Life Field.

The team is "recommending" that people still wear them when not eating or drinking. The contactless ticketing and cashless concessions rules are still in effect. The first game to go mask-free will be May 17, 2021.
