Each year the Dallas Mavericks host a formal event to raise money for The Mavs Foundation. The 7th Annual Mavs Ball is this Friday. The event is already sold out, but you can still bid on the auction items online.
Some of the available pieces are game-worn jerseys, autographed basketballs, etc. But the juicy stuff is a day of bowling with the team, being "coach for a day" with Jason Kidd, and my personal fave: going to the State Fair with Bobi. Brb. Going to bid now.
