It seems inflation comes for everybody these days, even the tooth fairy.
New research from Delta Dental shows that for the first time in five years, the amount the tooth fairy is handing out children for their teeth has dropped!
But don't feel too bad for these kids. The price per tooth dropped 39 cents, but it's still a whopping $5.84 per TOOTH! When we were kids, we got a quarter for our teeth! 25 cents, and we were happy about it!
Over the past 26 years, the average amount the Tooth Fairy hands out has increased an incredible 349%, from $1.30 to $5.84 per tooth.
At that same rate, by 2050, the Tooth Fairy will be leaving $30 under the pillow for a single tooth!
