It appears time heals all wounds, and that's no more evident than the recent partnership between Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield.
Remember, it was Tyson that infamously bit Holyfield's ear during their 1997 WBA Heavyweight championship bout, but that hasn't stopped the two from maintaining a friendship, and now going into business together.
Tyson's cannabis company, Tyson 2.0, recently announced the release of "Holy Ears," a line of cannabis-infused gummies that are shaped…like ears.
The pair also announced the release of Holyfield's own cannabis line in 2023.
Tyson has become a staunch advocate for cannabis over the years, telling HuffPost, "If I was on cannabis, I wouldn't have bit [Holyfield's] ear!"
Holyfield, understandably, was not entirely on board with the project at first, telling HuffPost, "I didn't think it was funny at first, but then I realized Mike hadn't been in more trouble for a while," adding that he appreciated how Tyson was helping people with his products.
He admitted he hadn't tried cannabis until he got his first Holy Ears sample.
"I wanted to make sure I got home and didn't do anything to anyone," he said. "I ate it and laid down. I woke up the next morning and was like, 'Whoa.'"
