Urban Outfitters has begun selling refurbished iPods and calling them "vintage"

These days, you'd be hard-pressed to find someone who still uses an actual iPod to listen to music.  The iPod was incredible in its day, but now that we can listen to music on our phones, they've become obsolete.

However, one person's obsolete is just another person's "vintage."

And that person might be Gen Z, as Urban Outfitters has begun taking refurbished iPods, labeling them as "vintage," and begun selling them in their stores.

One listing for a fourth-generation iPod from 2004 described it as a "genuine piece of vintage retro tech" and "the perfect blend of new millennium design with modern features."  And what will drive you up a wall is the price tag.

While a fourth-generation iPod from 2004 will cost you around $35 on eBay, you can pick one up from Urban Outfitters for $350!

For context, the original iPod cost $399 when it came out in 2001.

According to the New York Post, the heavy price tag isn't deterring customers as listings for iPod, and iPod Minis which Urban Outfitters was selling for $200, have been removed from their website meaning they are completely sold out!
