One of the greatest stories to come out of the Super Bowl was the birth of Los Angeles Rams' player Van Jefferson's son, and how he had to rush out of the stadium to make sure he made it to the birth on time!
Well for the past couple of weeks after the game, Van and his wife Samaria have been mum on what they named their baby. Well today, we finally have the answer.
Van told CBS Sports, "We decided on Champ Jefferson. It's very fitting. That's very fitting for the type of situation we just had ... 'Champ' is like a warrior, and my wife is a warrior, what she did that whole game."
Of course, Van and Samaria considered other names first. Samaria said, "After he was born, Van walked into the room and he said, 'I have a great idea for a name: Wynn Jefferson.'"
