Victoria's Secret is closing a chapter of their historically sexy ads to re-establish their brand. The popular "Angels" campaign that began in 1997 and launched the careers of countless supermodels is coming to an end.
Instead the lingerie company will focus on female empowerment. They've partnered with spokespeople like Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Megan Rapinoe, Valentina Sampaio, and Amanda de Cadenet. The women won't be flaunting their bodies in skimpy attire. Rather, they will host podcasts and appear in marketing materials.
