Walmart is taking some of its cues from another grocery store chain in regards to Thanksgiving this year.

Earlier this week, Aldi announced they would be selling Thanksgiving foods at "2019 prices" to combat the rising costs those items will endure due to inflation, and Walmart says they will be doing the same.

Walmart said they will be offering "This Year's Thanksgiving Meal at Last Year's Price," and say that they know customers want to make memories with their loved ones, so they've "been working hard to ensure they can do just that."

Market research found that Thanksgiving will cost about 13.5% more than last year.

Inflation and even the avian flu have contributed to the rising costs of turkey, as the national average price per pound of a whole frozen turkey this week is $1.99, compared to $1.15 last year.
