In an attempt to get back at her ex-boyfriend, a Pueblo, Colorado woman called the police claiming she was hiding in his basement, where he had a gun and he was threatening to kill her.
Well when the police arrived at his house, they discovered it was just an elaborate ruse, and she was not holed up in his basement being threatened at gunpoint. In fact, she was not even in the state!
The call wasn't a total waste for the police, however. The ex had a camper in his backyard, and after police ordered everyone out, they discovered Lawrence Salazar, a wanted FUGITIVE, had been living in it!
Salazar was subsequently arrested and booked on the warrant. No word yet on if SHE will be facing any charges for making a false call to the police.
