Monday was a record-making day for weather in North Texas. After 67 days with no precipitation, parts of DFW experienced up to 15 inches of rain in a 24-hour period. This lead to multiple flash floods that affected homes, businesses, and vehicles.

Fox Weather report Robert Ray was covering the storms, and he was positioned near American Airlines Center by I-35E and Hi Line/Victory. He noticed a woman driving into the deep water, and she then got stuck.

As Ray tried to push Stephanie Carroll's floating crossover to safety, they realized it was submerging too quickly. Instead, he pulled her out of the passenger window. The water was waist-deep as her assisted Carroll from the car. The entire rescue was caught on tape.
