A group of experts say that watching game shows daily is good for your brain, and can "boost your problem-solving skills, improve memory, and strengthen your mind."
According to the NY Post, game shows make you pay close attention, quickly process information, and either problem-solve or recall knowledge.
Glen R. Finney, M.D., FAAN, a fellow of the American Academy of Neurology and director of the Memory and Cognition Program with Geisinger Health in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, said, "Game shows have a number of cognitively stimulating features that could provide cognitive benefits. This engages numerous networks in the brain in an engaging and enjoyable way, which also enhances learning
"We know that engaging in regular cognitive activities like this that challenge you can boost mental acuity."
