Paul Box is understandably tired.
When the Waxahachie resident landed at DFW International Airport Wednesday afternoon, he wasn't quite sure what time it was. Or for that, what day it was.
Box has good reason to be a little exhausted though: He had just completed the World Marathon Challenge, which consists of running seven marathons, in seven days, on all seven continents!
The World Marathon Challenge started in Antarctica, which Box says was the hardest race he's ever done. Runners faced -11 degree weather with 40 mph wind gusts. "It was brutal," he said.
From there, he went to Africa, Australia, Europe, South America, and then finished in North America in Miami.
Box told NBC DFW, "In the running world, this has got to be something similar to climbing Mount Everest. As soon as the race was over, we'd head back to the airport, we'd get on our plane, and we'd take off to the next location."
